Rummage Sale 2009

Annual Neighborhood Rummage Sale

Friday, September 11, 2009 9am to 5pm
Saturday, September 12, 2009 9am to 2pm

It’s never too early to get organized for the Swan Park Annual Rummage Sale. This year’s sale will be held the weekend after Labor Day, September 11th and 12th. To be included on the rummage map, please complete the registration form below and mail it or drop it off to Liz Brener 9425 Beverly Place. No call in registration this year. The deadline for rummage registration is September 4th.

Rummage participation is free for SPNA members, and $5.00 for non-members.

Rummage participation includes:

 Having your home listed on the map
 Advertising in the Journal/Sentinel, Wauwatosa NOW, and yards signs throughout the neighborhood.
 Maps to hand out at your rummage

If you are able to help distribute maps to participating neighbors prior to the sale, please contact Liz Brener at 771-5701 or jlabren@yahoo.com .

People come from all over to shop this rummage. It is a great opportunity to get rid of unwanted items. Sign up now and start organizing!!!

Save Our Mailbox

On the corner of Wilson and 96th Street. Lots of neighbors use it and the post office said if they get enough calls, they may keep it where it is. So please call 258-9210 during post office hours and help save our Swan Park mailbox. Thank you!

Summer TGIF Socials are back again this year!

They all start Fridays, at 6:30pm Shine-only (cancelled if rain)
Summer is in the air and just around the corner so bring your family, lawn chairs, your own beverages, and maybe a small appetizer to share and enjoy your neighbors. Watch for yard signs. Please call 777-0380 or email to volunteer your yard for a TGIF!
